Glamis has extensive experience with microenterprises and business lending, global trade consulting, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and Community Development Credit Unions (CDCUs). Before joining the Columbia-Harlem SBDC, she worked as the Lending and Business Development Manager at Union Settlement Federal Credit Union. In this position, she coordinated the activities of service organizations, financial institutions, federal, and state programs related to small business lending supported by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and CDIFs.

In working to execute "go-to-market" strategies for food processors, he has handled every aspect from product design to retail launch and the development of a national sales network.

Mara is the Creative Director and Co-founder of Sunbird Creative, a branding agency in Harlem. After growing up in Hong Kong and living a year in Ethiopia, Mara landed in NYC and began her design career soon after graduating with a BFA from NYU. Through designing her own website, CDs, and other collateral as a singer-songwriter, Mara realized how much she loved telling visual stories, first for herself and then for others.

Bianca is the Co-founder and Strategy Director of Sunbird Creative, a branding agency in Harlem.
Having grown up on four continents in a multicultural family, Bianca was naturally attracted to the diversity of New York City—especially Harlem. After earning her BA in English & American Literature at NYU, she tutored, worked in the writing center at Northern Virginia Community College, and freelanced as a writer/editor. Her specialty was communicating complex ideas in plain language.
