Microsoft Outlook
The Outlook safe senders list contains domain names for which email will not be moved to your Junk E-mail folder. By default, email addresses in your Outlook contacts are considered safe senders by the Junk E-mail Filter. However, when you send a message to a person or organization that is not an Outlook contact, the recipient's email address does not get added to the Safe Senders List. This means that when the recipient replies to your message, their reply might be moved to your Junk E-Mail folder.
To make sure that email from the Columbia Business School community is not sent to your Junk E-mail folder, even if they are not an Outlook contact of yours, please do the following:

Then, open Outlook 2010
- On the Home tab, in the Delete group, click Junk, and select Junk E-mail Options.
- Click the Safe Senders tab.
- Select the Import from File button.
- Browse to the saved gsb_safesenders.txt file, select it.
- Click Open, click Apply, then click OK.
Instructions for Microsoft Outlook 2011 (Mac)
- In the Tools menu, select Junk E-mail Protection.
- Click the Safe Domains tab.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Copy and paste the domains into the blank field and click OK.
