Fall 2024 Lang Fund Recipients
The Board of the Lang Entrepreneurial Initiative Fund ("Lang Fund") is pleased to announce investments in two companies founded by Columbia Business School (CBS) alumni, following a highly competitive selection process. A full list of Lang funded companies can be found here. Established in 1996 through a gift from Eugene M. Lang, MS ’40, the Lang Fund has provided early-stage seed capital to more than 75 graduating student and alumni ventures. Here are the Fall 2024 Lang Fund Winners:

Pelican Invest - Alexandra Bono ‘22
Pelican is a digital platform that empowers families to save for education through goal-setting, investment advice, funding opportunities, and financial curriculum.
All applicants were screened by The Lang Entrepreneurship Center and students in the two-year Columbia Venture Fellows program (CVF). The highly competitive CVF program provides first-hand venture investing experience to Columbia Business School students serious about pursuing a career in venture capital.
