About the Academic DEI Conference Working Group
Bringing together leading scholars from the top business schools, the annual Academic Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Conference is co-sponsored by Columbia Business School, INSEAD, the Division of Research and Faculty Development at Harvard Business School, and MIT Sloan. The overarching goal of the conference is to examine and identify opportunities, challenges, and cutting-edge practices for disseminating diversity education within business school curricula. Faculty experts and educational practitioners from some of the world’s leading business schools, including Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, London Business School, NYU Stern, UCLA Anderson, and University of Chicago Booth School of Business, to name a few, come together to share their experiences teaching and engaging students on DEI topics and advise on effective pedagogical approaches.
Columbia Business School recently hosted the fifth-annual conference, which took place in May 2023. Learn more about our 2020, 2021, and 2022 conferences, and explore DEI-related research projects by our Bernstein Faculty Leaders Wei Jiang and Christian Moser.
