In collaboration with the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, Linda Green was awarded a $250,000 grant by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in the fall of 2007.
As co-principal investigator, Linda Green will be using the grant to study the feasibility of using queueing theory to guide nurse staffing decisions in hospitals.
