Ann F. Kaplan ’77
Ann Kaplan is a partner of Circle Wealth Management, a registered financial advisory firm providing investment solutions to individuals, families, and non-profit organizations. She is also the chair and founder of Circle Financial Group, a wealth management membership group for women.
Ms. Kaplan was previously a general partner of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where she served as the head of the municipal bond department.
Ms. Kaplan is a Columbia University Trustee Emerita. She currently serves on the Board of Overseers of the Columbia University School of Business, the Columbia University Board of Advisors at the Medical Center, and the Mailman School of Public Health. She is Chair of the Women Creating Change Leadership Board. She also taught asset management at Columbia Business School from 2004 to 2014.
Ann Kaplan serves on the board of Women’s Health Access Matters. She is a Trustee Emerita of Smith College, the American Red Cross and the Museum of Arts and Design, where she chaired the investment committees. She was previously a board member of multiple public and privately held companies including the Goldman Sachs Bank Board. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of New York, and the International Women’s Forum.
Ms. Kaplan holds a B.A. from Smith College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
