Luca Bassi ’00

Luca joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2003.  He is co-head of the Technology, Financial and Business Services vertical and a member of the European Private Equity team.  In addition to Technology, Financial & Business Services investments, Luca also focuses on the coverage of Southern Europe (Italy and Spain).

Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Luca worked for Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division in London where he advised Italian and international companies on cross-border M&A transactions.  Previously, he worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company in Milan where he focused on the financial services sectors.

Luca holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from Bocconi University.
