Rebecca A. John '01

Rebecca A. John '01

Rebecca A. John is a senior executive with more than 25 years of global financial services experience. Ms. John established Kintore Partners in 2019 to provide early funding for technology and healthcare companies. Previously, she worked in New York for Lexington Partners, a global private equity firm with $55 billion in committed capital, for over 17 years. At Lexington, Ms. John was a partner, an investment committee observer, and the head of investor relations. Prior to Lexington, Ms. John worked for Goldman Sachs in New York, Merrill Lynch in Singapore, and Ernst & Young in Singapore and Australia.

Born in Australia, Ms. John earned a BCom from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She also holds a Chartered Accountant designation from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Ms. John serves on the boards of Columbia Business School and The Rockefeller University (Audit Committee). She also serves as an advisory board member of Columbia Business School's Private Equity Program and as a committee member of The Rockefeller University's Women and Science Initiative.
