Meet the 2018 Summer Fellowship RecipientsThe Summer Fellowship Program enables rising second-year students to gain experience at early-stage ventures during the summer. We asked this year's fellowship recipients to share more about their experiences from this opportunity.

 

 

 

Anisha Das '19

Anisha Das '19 is interning as a Strategy and Operations intern at Qapital. She is helping the Customer Success team revamp their methods, including changing the tools the team uses, changing the UX of the app, and changing how information is disseminated to the public. In addition, she is working with the Head of Product and the Chief of Staff to help launch Qapital's new Invest product, which is currently in beta testing, as well as helping to identify additional benefits and products that Qapital can provide to its customers.

Danny Child '19

Danny Child '19 is crafting and implementing a customer loyalty program platform based on research of competitors and mining Yumble's customer data for patterns and insights. His summer project will be successful if new subscriptions increase steadily week-over-week, and existing customers are retained at a profitable rate due to the loyalty program he creates and implements.

Jamie Merolla '19

At Street Smarts VR, Jamie Merolla '19 will be working with the CEO and Sales team to develop procedures to standardize the sales process. His additional responsibilities will include developing marketing materials, prospecting for new business, and implementing quality control procedures to enhance the product.

Elizabeth Gruber

Elizabeth Gruber '19 will be working with the newly-formed Torch, which seeks to identify and nurture startups within the rapidly changing consumer ecosystem. She will be conducting market research and meeting with founders, while assisting with all due diligence that comes with forming a new company. At the same venture, Kimberly Go '19 will work closely with the next generation of consumer startup companies to achieve marketplace success by providing strategic advice and operational know-how to build sustainable brands.

Sebastian Brunal '19

Sebastian Brunal '19 will be a Product Manager at WeissBeerger, the leading Internet of Things & Big Data solution for breweries, soft drink manufacturers, and bars. He will be helping WeissBeerger give manufacturers real-time insight and understanding of the market in order to optimize pricing, improve operations, increase revenue, and create a one-of-a-kind consumer experience.

Thomas Liu '19

Thomas Liu '19 is a product owner for the "Eligibility" functionality on the Vestwell platform. He will help the organization manage the prioritization, design, development, and release of any new features around this functionality.

Meet the 2018 Summer Fellowship Recipients

Kevin Gallagher '19 is working for a search-fund acquired business called Metro Vein Centers, a health-care clinic business specializing in vein treatment. He will be helping them expand their clinics this summer.
