The 12th annual Columbia Women in Business (CWIB) Conference on February 25th drew standing-room only crowds eager to learn from and network with one another and the accomplished women speaking at the event.
This year’s conference, Embrace the Female Advantage: Winning in the Workplace & the World Beyond, explored qualities that enable women to succeed in both their professional and personal lives.
Keynote speakers were Susan Whiting, president and CEO of Nielsen Media Research, and the well-known fashion designer Dana Buchman. Panel discussions and workshops held throughout the day provided guests with a broad range of topics for more intimate discussion.
The much-anticipated annual event, established to commemorate the achievements of women, attracts a diverse group of students, faculty, alumnae and business professionals who are interested in gaining a greater perspective on today’s challenges and opportunities.
