Columbia Business School welcomed back its distinguished alumni for a spirited reunion weekend, drawing nearly 700 alumni and guests from the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia for the 5-, 10- and 25-year reunion classes.
The festivities began Friday night with a cocktail party at the new Business/Law Building. On Saturday, alumni participated in sessions and panel discussions led by prominent faculty members including Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz and Professor Bruce Greenwald. Class-specific panel discussions held Saturday afternoon offered alumni the chance to glean career advice from top working professionals in various fields.
One discussion, organized by the 10th reunion class, offered advice on managing one’s career in a slowing economy. Saturday evening featured cocktails, dinner and dancing on campus. Brunch at the Boathouse in Central Park and a museum tour wrapped up the weekend.
