The Center on Japanese Economy and Business at Columbia Business School held a symposium titled, “Perspectives on Japan’s Political Economy – A Symposium with Columbia University Professors Curtis, Ogawa, Patrick, and Weinstein," from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 21 at Palace Hotel Tokyo.Four specialists on Japan from the Center including Professors Curtis, Ogawa, Patrick, and Weinstein discussed a broad range of timely topics including Japan’s macroeconomic performance and economic policy implications of Japan’s political situation. Presentations and discussions were conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation provided in Japanese.
