Paolo Siconolfi Appointed Director of Doctoral Program
Paolo Siconolfi, the Franklin Pitcher Johnson Jr. Professor of Finance and Economics, will take leadership of the Business School’s Doctoral Program effective July 1, 2017. Paolo received his PhD in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and joined the Business School as a Visiting Assistant Professor in 1988. His research has focused on general equilibrium theory, information theory, and dynamic models in monetary theory.
Working with the PhD Faculty committee, Paolo will provide academic direction, coordination, and oversight for the programs. He will continue to ensure that the PhD program is rigorous while training future generations of scholars and teachers who, during their time with us, contribute to our intellectual community and the generation of new ideas and research.
