Brendan Hasenstab is a Communications Specialist for the Climate Knowledge Initiative at The Tamer Center for Social Enterprise, within Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. He handles writing and editing of content on subjects at the intersection of climate and business with the aim of creating a more just and sustainable planet for all of us.
Prior to joining CBS, Brendan has been a writer/editor for The Conference Board, McKinsey & Company, and financial firms PIMCO and Lehman Brothers. He got his start in cable TV news back in the 1990s, writing for the ear—rather than the eye—with six years at CNN covering business and economics.
Brendan holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern University.
