Davima Broadbelt Clarke

Davima Broadbelt Clarke is the Senior Associate Director of Human Resources, and sees herself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to employees and leadership. Davima’s personal human resources philosophy is that all employees are valuable, and it is the human resources professional’s role to help ensure that employees, their careers and well-being are valued and supported by the organization in which they serve.
Davima joins us from the Human Resources team within the Office of the Executive Vice President for Arts and Sciences, Columbia University, where she served as Associate Director and Human Resources Generalist. Prior to that, Davima worked at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies with their Human Resources team as a Human Resources Generalist, and within the Office of the Dean. Davima has also worked in Career Services at The New School. Davima brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in all human resources functions including workforce planning, talent acquisition and on-boarding, training, development, employee and labor relations, and operations.
Davima is a Columbian at her core, as she is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Capital Management at the School of Professional Studies, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology at the School of General Studies. Go Lions!
Outside of work, Davima is a music enthusiast who enjoys outdoor activities with her family and close friends, and loves to travel and experience the beauty the world offers.
