Samantha Shapses Wertheim is a student affairs professional committed to engaging students, faculty, and administrators to create an environment in which students feel a sense of belonging, agency, and inclusive engagement. Currently, Dr. Shapses Wertheim serves as the Senior Associate Dean and Dean of Student Affairs, Columbia Business School where she draws upon 20+ years of professional experience working in the field of higher education as a student and academic affairs professional. Dr. Shapses Wertheim has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of International Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University, New York University, and Teacher’s College at Columbia University. Currently, Dr. Shapses serves as the Senior Associate Dean and Dean of Student Affairs (Dean of Students), and an adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia Business School.
