Diana L. Taylor ’80
Ms. Taylor started her career as an investment banker in New York, where she worked from 1980 through 1996. She then joined Governor George Pataki’s administration, where she worked in several capacities in the environmental, energy, housing and banking fields. In 2003, she was appointed Banking Superintendent for the State of New York, which appointment she held for four years. In 2007, she moved into Private Equity, where she was involved in investments in financial institutions globally and then as an advisor on consumer businesses.
Ms. Taylor now sits on the boards of two public companies, Citigroup and Brookfield Asset
Management, chairs the Friends of Hudson River Park and chairs three not‐for‐profit boards, Accion, Hot Bread Kitchen and the New York City Ballet Theater, and is a board member of the Cold Spring Harbor Lab, and Ideas42. She is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College, and the Mayo Clinic, among others. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of New York City.
Ms. Taylor earned her AB from Dartmouth College, her MBA from Columbia School of Business, and her MPH from the Mailman School at Columbia.
