Jennifer Dudley joined Columbia Business School in 2023 as the Equity by Design Lab Director and Postdoctoral Research Scholar. Her research focuses on the impacts of shifting political landscapes on leadership and organizations. 

Farmers Right-to-Repair Project

In collaboration with Adina Sterling and Alan Zhang, Jennifer is investigating the issue of U.S. farmers' right to repair their own farm equipment. In the U.S., some farm equipment is subject restrictive maintenance and repair agreement by the equipment manufacturer. The research team is currently scheduling interviews with farmers so that they can learn about farmers' experiences with and opinions about the issue.
