Lorenzo Calvetti
Lorenzo holds a Master’s in Quantitative Finance and Insurance from the University of Turin and a Bachelor’s in Economics. Through the Allievi Honors Program at Collegio Carlo Alberto, he pursued advanced training in econometrics and research methods. He'd built strong technical skills in Python, R, Stata, MATLAB, and Julia, and developed a broad interest in finance—ranging from corporate finance to machine learning.
He previously worked on an empirical project in criminal economics and currently serves as a pre-doctoral fellow in finance at Columbia Business School. His research interests lie at the intersection of finance, statistics, and computer science, with a focus on applying machine learning to financial modeling and exploring topics in international finance and asset pricing.
