Milena Wittwer is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Columbia University. She is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a member of the Finance Theory Group (FTG).
Her research explores the intersection of finance, market design, and industrial organization, focusing on how frictions and strategic behavior shape outcomes in financial markets.
Recently appointed as a Research Affiliate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), the premier economic research organization in the United States, and at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), one of Europe’s leading networks of academic economists.
