People are concerned that tariffs will increase prices of everyday goods. In this opinion piece, Professor Dan Wang contends that restricting immigration, especially high-skilled immigration, would have the same effect while also propelling a wave of reverse brain drain out of the United States.

Dan Wang is Lambert Family Professor of Social Enterprise and (by courtesy) Sociology at Columbia Business School, where he is also the Co-Director of the Tamer Institute for Social Enterprise and Climate Change.
