Abstract
In October 2008 Lloyd Goldman, CEO of BLDG Management, led the acquisition of 1372 Broadway. The financial crisis impeded closing the deal; however, Wachovia Bank, the seller, made the transaction feasible by offering a five-year mortgage plan. Students are asked to evaluate the strategy of the acquisition and propose leasing transactions that could enhance the bottom line of the investment.
