Marc De Kuyper
Marc de Kuyper is an executive, investor, and incoming Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School, where he will teach AI Strategies for the Private Firm to MBA and executive cohorts. His course addresses what most AI programs leave open: the distance between technical possibility, corporate values and boardroom reality.
De Kuyper brings over two decades of experience as a founder, operator, and investor across technology, enterprise AI, and consumer markets. His company Praexo Group builds niche AI solutions and advises global companies on AI strategy, governance, and organizational transformation. He is also a Partner at Stellar, a private equity firm focused on acquiring and transforming vertical software companies into AI-powered market leaders — a portfolio that includes AnswerRocket, an enterprise AI analytics platform.
Earlier, he founded Overproof, an AI-driven commercial intelligence platform for the beverage alcohol industry, and before that built the US division of De Kuyper Royal Distillers. He also co-led ABN AMRO's Family Business Center, developing governance frameworks for large multigenerational enterprises. As a member of the 11th generation of De Kuyper Royal Distillers, he brings an unusually long-horizon perspective on institutional change.
He holds degrees from Rotterdam School of Management and is a member of YPO, Les Hénokiens, and the Board of Advisors of Endeavor Ventures. Marc is married with two children and divides his time between Miami and Amsterdam.
