Alejandro Franco

Alejandro is a Class of 2026 MBA student, interested in bridging government and businesses to address today's most pressing issues: climate change and poverty. A lawyer and Chevening Scholar with an MPP from Oxford, he has held various roles within the Colombian government and has taught at a top law school. Most recently, Alejandro launched Bogotá’s Creative Industries Public Office, where he developed a keen interest in driving growth in nontraditional business sectors such as culture and the arts. Now excited to join The Hub’s Student Advisory Board, Alejandro is an advocate for practical solutions to address capitalism’s challenges. Rather than debating the replacement of capitalism, he believes in harnessing pragmatic, incremental approaches to correct the system's flaws.
