Felipe Gatos
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Felipe Gatos is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School with a background in investment banking, corporate strategy, and private equity operations. Prior to business school, Felipe was part of Capital One’s internal strategy team, where he led strategic intelligence efforts focused on competitive positioning and long-term growth planning. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at Citi, covering Latin America, and later joined Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations practice, advising Fortune 100 clients on performance improvement and market expansion. Most recently, he worked at Bain & Company’s Private Equity Group as an MBA summer associate, supporting value creation efforts for institutional investors.
At Columbia, he has been involved in several initiatives, including the Green Business Club, the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise, and Student Government. Felipe serves as the 2025-2026 Co-President for The Hub Student Advisory Board.
