Nayla Bahri
Dr. Nayla Bahri is a coach, leadership educator, designer, teacher, facilitator, speaker, and advisor. Her work reflects both a sense of purpose and a sense of humor. Nayla’s coaching clients are professionals seeking or facing career disruption who are looking to work with greater meaning and effectiveness across industries and levels. She partners with clients to create greater insight and clarity, generate new ideas and options, and to take action that moves them in the direction that best suits their goals, desires, and needs. Nayla also specializes in leadership development, high potentials, women’s leadership, and team effectiveness.
Nayla has extensive training in the social/emotional intelligence, group dynamics, conflict resolution, appreciative inquiry, action learning, counseling, and coaching. Nayla earned her BA in English Literature and French Studies from Smith College, a master’s degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and her doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership at Columbia University. Nayla was the longtime Dean of Students in the MBA Program at Columbia Business School. She also teaches at Columbia University and the Institute for Personal Leadership. Nayla spent many years as the founder of a talent management practice at a medical devices company, where she was responsible for the learning and development of 4,000 employees globally.
