Gant Elmore

Gant is a partner at Elmore Companies, a Bloomington, Indiana based family office that partners with entrepreneurs to acquire small businesses across the country. At Elmore Companies, Gant is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential acquisitions and supporting all portfolio companies. In addition to his responsibilities at Elmore Companies, Gant is Executive Chairman at Turner Mining Group, which he co-founded, as well as Firmatek, Wave Reaction, and Turner Staffing Group. At each of these companies, Gant is a trusted advisor to the individual CEO and other high level executives where he focuses on strategy and growth. Gant is also actively involved in the management of the Elmores’ Minor League Baseball teams and is on the board of directors for Grayhill, a global electronics manufacturer.
Turner Mining Group is a Bloomington, Indiana based mining services contractor with hundreds of employees across the country. Firmatek is the leading inventory management and mapping company in the mining and waste services industries.
Gant has a background in finance and law, including both his J.D. and M.B.A, having worked for Morgan Stanley in New York City, and at private equity firm glendonTodd Capital in Dallas, TX. Prior to pursuing his J.D. and M.B.A. at Indiana University, Gant was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers and played in their minor league system. Gant received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University in 2011, and received his J.D. and M.B.A. with honors from Indiana University in 2016. Gant lives in Bloomington, IN with his wife, Meredith, and two sons.
