Kennedy Shields '23
Kennedy Shields works in Portfolio Management at Griffin Capital Company, a vertically integrated real estate investment company currently focused on the multifamily housing sector located in El Segundo, CA. At Griffin, she is responsible for the Firm’s fund formation and management, financing activities, property valuations, investor reporting, and sales team education. She is a graduate of Columbia Business School (’23) where she served as Co-President of the Real Estate Association (REA), Co-President of the Health & Wellness Club, earned Dean’s Honors (top 25% of the class), and was a recipient of the Real Estate Circle Fellowship and Benjamin H. Schore Fellowship. Prior to CBS, Kennedy worked in Portfolio Management at Stockbridge Capital for the firms' Value Fund Series and several separate account clients. She was previously an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Consumer & Retail Group. Kennedy graduated from Georgetown University (’16) with a B.A. in Finance and Marketing, where served on the board of the Georgetown University Real Estate Club. In her free time, Kennedy enjoys golf, pickleball, skiing, fitness classes, and walks with her dog, Sunny.
