Michael Zhu, a fourth-generation descendant of a distinguished Chinese lineage, presently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Accathon Capital, his family's office. His expertise lies in meticulously managing complex private market investments on a global scale.
In addition to his financial acumen, Michael founded the Asian Family Legacy Foundation, where he chairs the Board of Directors. The Foundation fosters a trusted circle for influential families worldwide, facilitating profound dialogues to navigate the intricacies of wealth and legacy, and fostering impactful connections. Dedicated to non-capital legacy, the Foundation's mission is to strengthen family bonds and cultivate a shared legacy through giving back, with an unwavering commitment to integrity, responsibility, and innovation.
Michael is a passionate advocate for the arts, education, cultural enrichment, and the eradication of global hunger. Over three generations, his family has amassed an impressive collection of art and antiques, ranging from 150 million years old to 5,000 years old, including ancient marine fossils, dinosaur fossils, Neolithic artifacts, and Majiayao pottery. This cultural wealth is showcased in the Zhu Family Museum. Michael and his family have a longstanding history of supporting educational initiatives for "left-behind" children, ensuring equal access to education. Furthermore, Michael actively supports Tony Robbins's "100 Billion Meals Challenge," a commendable initiative to combat global hunger.
