Sam Huber

A fourth-generation Huber family member, Sam was involved in the very earliest family governance efforts, serving on the committee that interviewed and recommended the first 4th Generation family directors. Sam has also served on the Family Philanthropy Committee, the Owners’ Room Task Force, the Family Council Board, and the Shareholder Communications Team. For the past several years, Sam has served as co-chair of the Family Council Board (now the Huber Family Board). Sam has also been a non-voting director on both the CP Kelco and JM Huber Corporate boards.
Sam holds degrees in English and Comparative Literature from Princeton and Columbia Universities. Since 1984 he has worked as a teacher, administrator, and head of school in a variety of settings. Currently, he spends much of his time as President of a family foundation, in addition to serving on several non-profit boards and consulting with other non-profit organizations. He and his wife, Catherine Weiss, live in Montclair, NJ, where their three daughters spent much of their childhood. The nest is, at present, “empty” – except for dogs.
