Brian Regan
Mr. Regan is a General Partner at WCAS, a leading U.S. private equity firm focused on the healthcare and technology industries. Since its founding in 1979, WCAS has raised and managed funds totaling over $33 billion of committed capital. Mr. Regan joined the firm in 2002 and is a member of the Management Committee and Investment Review Committee. He has invested in numerous companies across a broad range of healthcare subsectors including healthcare delivery, pharma value chain, payor services, medical technology, and healthcare technology. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Lumexa Imaging, Abzena, Kiniciti and Liberty Dental Plan. In addition to his portfolio companies, Mr. Regan is also on the Board of Directors of the Health Management Academy, a strategic partner of WCAS that provides research, knowledge sharing and leadership development to leading US health systems. Mr. Regan was involved in former WCAS investments in NEWAsurion, Aptuit, Laurus Labs, Ardent Health Services, Bausch & Lomb, Select Medical, MultiPlan/Viant, Ruesch International, Springstone, US Anesthesia Partners, US Acute Care Solutions and Shields Health Solutions. Before joining WCAS in 2002, he worked in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch. Mr. Regan graduated from Yale College.
In the community, Brian is a Trustee of Partnership Schools, an innovative, independent school organization focused on the underserved in Cleveland, Ohio. He is also a Board Member of the Women’s Justice Initiative, a Guatemala-based organization dedicated to ending violence against Indigenous girls and women in rural communities.
