Paulo Costa
Paulo Costa is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia Business School, where he studies and teaches wealth management, investing, and personal finance.
He is a behavioral economist, global keynote speaker, and advisor who delivers more than 30 keynote addresses annually for family offices, financial advisors, and investors worldwide. Before joining Columbia, Paulo spent six years at Vanguard, leading behavioral economics and wealth management research that was translated into scalable investment and financial planning solutions used by millions of clients. His research has appeared in The Journal of Wealth Management, and his perspectives have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CBS News, and CNBC.
Paulo holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. He is a CFP® professional.
