EMBA-Global, the top-ranked partnership program between Columbia Business School and London Business School, is expanding to Asia.
The new program, EMBA-Global Asia, includes HKU Business School, creating the first and only executive MBA program jointly located in the three cities that drive global business: New York, London and Hong Kong. Columbia Business School, London Business School and HKU will confer a joint MBA degree and graduates will gain access to the alumni networks of all three schools.
The 20-month program will begin in May 2009 with an inaugural class of approximately 50 students. EMBA-Global Asia will target globally focused executives and managers, primarily based in Asia, with most of the core curriculum taught in Hong Kong by faculty members drawn from all three schools. Electives will be offered in New York and London as well as Hong Kong and will be open to all EMBA students at the three schools, offering exposure to multiple international markets.
This new program builds on such existing EMBA curricular programming as International Seminars, which connect EMBA students to industry leaders throughout the world in places such as China, Argentina, Germany and India.
