DRO PhD student Denis Saure won first place in the INFORMS Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Society (MSOM) Student Paper Competition, for his paper, "Optimal Dynamic Assortment Planning," co-authored by Professor Assaf Zeevi. The award is given annual for papers judged to be the best in the field of Operations Management.
The paper must present original research conducted primarily by the student entrant, with some assistance by other individuals such as the student's faculty advisor permitted. The DRO division extends its congratulations to Denis on his accomplishment.
