Lynne B. Sagalyn, Earle W. Kazis and Benjamin Schore Professor of Real Estate, Director, MBA Real Estate Program and Director, Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate, traveled to Sydney in May to advise the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales on establishing a real estate program.
During her visit as the Andrew Roberts Visiting Professor, Sagalyn conducted a research seminar, met with academics and industry professionals, and participated in an industry panel discussion on commercial real estate market trends.
At the panel, “Should Australians Invest in Real Estate,” Sagalyn was joined by a panel of industry experts including Tim Church, Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Australasia, UBS Investment Bank; David Harrison, Joint Managing Director, Charter Hall; and Campbell Hanan, Group Executive, Head of Investa Office. Robert Harley, Property Editor at the Australian Financial Review, served as moderator.
Kevin J. Fox, Director of the Centre for Applied Economic Research, is leading the Australian School of Business's real estate initiative and will be traveling to Columbia Business School in February.
