Alex is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School with experience across infrastructure investing and corporate development M&A. He worked as an Investment & Portfolio Associate this summer at New York Green Bank, evaluating private equity and private credit transactions for green infrastructure investments. Before CBS, Alex led corporate development M&A & strategy for Honeywell Energy and GE Power in Asia Pacific, driving cross-border transactions and multi-year growth. At CBS, he has deepened his PE exposure through PE courses, PE Field Study with Normandy, and currently serves as a Teaching Assistant for three PE courses in one academic year while actively contributing to the CBS PE program.

During my time at Columbia Business School, I’ve intentionally built a well-rounded private equity journey across experiential investing, academics, and community. I completed a PE Field Study with Normandy, underwriting real asset buyout, and took advanced courses in PE Finance, PE Allocation, PE Deals, and PE Value Creation. I now serve as a Teaching Assistant for the PE curriculum, further deepening my technical expertise. Beyond the classroom, I have been actively involved in the PE Club—participating in recruitment training, interview preparation sessions, and the CBS PE Breakfast Series—where I gained practical insights from industry leaders while further sharpening my technical and deal execution skills.
