Awaad Aamir `27 is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School focused on healthcare and financial services investing, and is currently a Private Equity Intern at Cinven. Before CBS, he was a Senior Manager on Apollo’s FIG Strategy team, where he helped integrate Athene’s insurance solutions with Apollo’s private asset strategies, and spent nearly four years at Oliver Wyman delivering commercial, operational, and technical due diligence for private equity sponsors.

At Columbia, I’ve built my private equity foundation through coursework in Private Equity, M&A, and Capital Markets and the KKR Private Equity Case Competition, while serving as VP of Careers for the Private Equity Club, where I help connect classmates with PE recruiting opportunities. Through the PE Field Study at Cinven, I’m developing a post-acquisition value creation plan for a healthcare portfolio company and supporting the team on a live bolt-on acquisition.
