Lucas Chan `27

Lucas Chan `27 is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School with prior experience advising private equity sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions. A dual-qualified attorney in New York and Hong Kong, he spent five years at Linklaters in Hong Kong, where he advised on complex cross-border M&A, leveraged finance, and private credit transactions. He holds a BA in Business Economics from UCLA and a JD from the University of Hong Kong.

At Columbia, the PE Program has been an important part of my MBA experience, giving me the opportunity to deepen my understanding of private equity investing through courses such as PE Deals and Advanced Private Equity, as well as by hearing from leading practitioners.
