Mollie Berger '27

Private Equity Fellow Class of 2027
Private Equity Program
Headshot Mollie Berger

Mollie Berger is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School with five years of experience advising private equity clients on commercial and vendor due diligence across healthcare and TMT. At L.E.K. Consulting, she led diligence workstreams and presented investment insights to senior stakeholders to inform transaction decisions. Building on this foundation, she is now pivoting to the buy side and has gained hands-on investing experience through roles with Broad Sky Partners and Haelan Capital Partners, focused on value creation and tech-enabled healthcare.

What draws me to private equity is the opportunity to combine a rigorous diligence mindset with true ownership over outcomes. In my pre-MBA role at L.E.K., I developed a strong foundation in evaluating businesses through due diligence, but I was always one step removed from both the investment decision and what happened post-close. Private equity offers the chance to not only underwrite a business, but to stay engaged and help shape its trajectory over time.
