Vasili Fokaidis `27 is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School focused on healthcare investing. Vasili brings a scientific and analytical background (MS in Biostatistics from Columbia and BS in Biology) together with experience in biopharma consulting, healthcare industry research, and healthcare investment banking. He is passionate about applying deep sector knowledge and transaction skills to evaluate and grow healthcare businesses, and is excited to keep building his expertise across healthcare capital markets and investing.

After several years in healthcare, in both industry and consulting, I came to CBS with the goal of moving into investing, and the school’s PE community has been central to that shift. After a summer in healthcare investment banking, I’m focused on building a long-term career in healthcare investing, and the highlights of my time here include the PE Breakfast Series, the annual CBS PE Conference, and immersive courses like PE Field Study, which has allowed me to connect with professionals across the NYC PE community.
