Geoffrey J. Colvin, JD '77, MBA '78
Geoffrey J. Colvin is a partner in CEW Partners, a family investment firm with interests in publicly traded securities, private partnerships and companies, and real estate. Previously, he practiced law at Proskauer Rose LLP in New York.
Mr. Colvin is Honorary Chairman of the Columbia College Alumni Association. He is an Emeritus member of the Board of Columbia Business School and Co-Chair of the Board of Visitors of Columbia Law School. He is a trustee of Teachers College, Columbia University, and is chair of its Audit Committee.
Mr. Colvin is a trustee emeritus of the Trinity School in New York City. He is a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Joint Distribution Committee. He also a trustee of the Wohl Foundation. He previously served as chair of the board of the Park Avenue Synagogue.
Mr. Colvin received an AB, summa cum laude, in 1974 from Columbia College, a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1977 and an M.B.A. from the Business School in 1978. He is married to Marcia Eppler. The couple lives in New York City with their three children, Jeremy CC ’08, BUS’14; Andrew CC’10, BUS’16, LAW’16 and Leigh CC’14.
