Jeff Witten is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sheer Health. Sheer Health is a direct to consumer healthcare company that revolutionizes how individuals manage their medical billing and health insurance. In under 12 months, the company has scaled to thousands of members and 11 employees, successfully raising Seed and Series A rounds from institutional investors. Members have saved on average $3,000 per year and the company will soon be launching publicly.
Previously, Jeff was the Founder and CEO of Coin Out, one of the leading consumer rewards programs in the United States. With no institutional funding, he scaled the business to over 1.5m users, processing more than 50 million transactions per year. The business ran surveys for the largest restaurant chains such as McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A and Wendy's, and had substantial data contracts with financial firms such as UBS. In 2021, IRi acquired Coin Out. Jeff spent a year at IRi integrating the platform and setting up what projected to be a $100m ARR business.
Prior to Coin Out, Jeff spent time at Apple, immersed in the early days of Apple Pay. He has a JD/MBA from Columbia, and also earned his BA from the College.
He currently advises several startups, is an active angel investor and is the Chairman of Columbia's Richman Center Advisory board.
