A team of recent graduates of the EMBA-Global program won top honors at Innovation '03, one of Europe’s premier venture competitions for high-technology startups. Team members Kent Johnson, Ross Newman and Martin Wagen, all MBA '03, partnered with a Swiss physicist to develop Spectraseis, which seeks to market new subsurface imaging technology to the oil and gas industry. All three men were members of the inaugural EMBA-Global class. The EMBA-Global program, which was launched in 2001, is a joint Executive MBA program offered by Columbia Business School and London Business School.
