New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg joined the Columbia Business School community in celebrating the remarkable 15-year tenure of Dean Meyer Feldberg ’65 at the School’s 28th Annual Dinner on May 3, 2004. Henry Kravis '69 chaired the gala event at the Waldorf-Astoria, which attracted an international audience of distinguished alumni, board members and business leaders. In the evening's keynote address, Mayor Bloomberg paid tribute to Dean Feldberg for his extraordinary service to the School and the greater New York community.
In honor of Dean Feldberg, alumni and friends of the School raised $10 million to establish the Meyer Feldberg Distinguished Fellowship Program. The fellowship program, which was unveiled at the Dinner, will build on Dean Feldberg's legacy by attracting and supporting future leaders in their studies at Columbia Business School.
Dean Meyer Feldberg will step down as dean of Columbia Business School at the end of this academic year. Columbia Professor R. Glenn Hubbard will assume the deanship on July 1, 2004.
