Dana Palmer
Dana March Palmer is the Senior Associate Dean for Curriculum and Programs at Columbia Business School. In this role, she advances the mission of Columbia Business School through ongoing innovation in and improvement of academic programs and curricula.
Dana brings over a decade of leadership experience in curriculum and academic program development to CBS. Prior to coming to CBS, Dana served as Senior Associate Provost for Academic Programs for the University, and served as Associate Dean for Educational Initiatives and for Doctoral Education at the Mailman School of Public Health. Dana is also an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Public Health.
Dana is a proud Columbia alumna, earning an MPH (Public Health 2003) and a PhD with distinction (GSAS 2011). She is a decorated educator and scholar, and a leader in pedagogical innovation in education at Columbia. Dana’s research and mentorship has focused on mental and physical health, social inequities, and public health education. Her work has been featured in Scientific American. Dana also has served as a commentator for multiple local and national news organizations, and has written for USA Today and The New York Times.
