Elizabeth Sazo

Liz Sazo is the Senior Associate Director of Enrollment Management Systems in the Admissions Office at Columbia Business School. She leads the strategy, development, and optimization of Slate CRM, supporting the full lifecycle of prospective students, from initial engagement through enrollment, as well as the application processing cycle.

With more than 15 years of experience in admissions systems and operations, Liz plays a central role in aligning technology, data, and processes to support recruitment, application evaluation, and enrollment initiatives across the School’s portfolio of programs. She is passionate about streamlining operations to enhance both the user experience and organizational efficiency.

Prior to joining the Business School in October 2007, Liz was a Computer Training Specialist at Boston University's Questrom School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering and an Masters of Science in Computer Science from Boston University. A native New Yorker with family roots in Guatemala, she brings a global perspective to her work.

She often sums up her approach with a bit of humor: “I aim to make everyone’s life easier—except my own.”
