Genevieve Kenny is the Assistant Dean of Career Education and Advising at Columbia Business School, where she leads efforts to prepare students to succeed in a rapidly evolving job market. She specializes in designing innovative career education and advising programs that help students translate their strengths, skills, and experiences into meaningful career opportunities.  Prior to joining Columbia, she was the Senior Director of MBA Career Coaching and Career Education Programs at the NYU Stern School of Business and held leadership roles in career education and employer engagement at NYU’s university-wide career center. She began her career in education as a Teach For America corps member and went on to serve as a school administrator.  Genevieve is a certified Professional Coach, a Gallup Strengths Coach and was trained in design thinking at Stanford University’s Life Design Lab. During her tenure at NYU, she received the NYU Student Affairs Hallmark Award and the NYU President’s Making a Difference Award.
