James Wu

James serves as Executive Director for Working Professional Career Management at Columbia Business School, overseeing career education programs and advising for the Executive MBA, Professional MBA, and alumni populations. He collaborates with employers and alumni to expand students’ networks and career opportunities. James is also a certified coach who advises students and alumni on career transitions, professional development, and internal mobility.

Prior to joining Columbia, James was a strategy and management consultant at Deloitte, where he focused on strategy and innovation projects in the high tech and human capital space. He holds an MBA (2013) from Columbia Business School, a Master's in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia Teachers College, and a BA in Economics from Yale University.
