Melissa Spooner

Melissa Spooner is the Associate Director at the Jerome A. Chazen Institute for Global Business. Melissa facilitates the research interests of international academics and practitioners through the Visiting Scholar Program. She also encourages students and staff to expand their language repertoire by signing up for the Chazen Language Program. Melissa is always interested in helping Business School students find opportunities to go abroad on Study Tours or Global Immersion Programs. Prior to joining the Business School in September 2018, Melissa was the Resident Faculty at Keio Academy of New York and an Assistant Language Teacher on the Japan Exchange & Teaching Program. She holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and an M.A. in International Education from NYU. A lover of the outdoors, Melissa enjoys living across the street from Fort Tyron Park. In her free time she enjoys playing sports and running with her border-collie mix named Kansai.
