Samantha Jean-Baptiste
Samantha Jean-Baptiste is the Program Manager for the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program (HPM) at Columbia Business School. In this role, she is responsible for the administrative coordination and management of HPM.
Prior to joining Columbia Business School, Samantha worked in the healthcare industry for over seven years, serving in a variety of different roles and settings at renowned medical institutions throughout New York State. From providing direct care to patients at a large not-for-profit acute care hospital in Albany, NY, to connecting patients and families abroad to cancer care services at a comprehensive cancer center in New York City, to most recently providing administrative coordination and operational support to researchers at an academic medical center in New York City, Samantha’s experiences allow her to bring a unique perspective to her role and work, and a deepened empathy for those and the world around her.
Samantha received a B.S. in Public Health from SUNY University at Albany and a M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. Samantha was born and raised in New York and currently lives in Brooklyn. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and volunteering.
